This is a very pretty Edwardian white blouse and skirt set in sheer cotton batiste with lovely lace and crochet inserts. The blouse closes in back with snaps on the right side, preserving the integrity of the lace insert design. There are two hooks and eyes at the bottom. The sleeves have lace inserts and lace trim. The skirt features a lovely lace insert geometric design and a wide panel of crochet lace above the hem. It closes in back with a hook and eye at the waist and three snaps.

The set is in remarkable good condition for the age. The blouse has no flaws. The skirt has a few pin holes and there are several small brown spots on the front, just below the lace insert, about hip level. These are not dark and not very noticeable. They could probably be lightened or removed with some spot cleaning.
