An extremely rare, ceramic Ivory Bramble Jug by Edwin Bennettpottery. Gorgeous deep purple and gold bramble design on the front and back,the pitcher is ivory with a textured body and a handle made to look like abranch. Made in the mid to late 19th century it is still inbeautiful condition. I have included a picture of the original catalog page of the jug (pic 2 - no 2) (catalog page isn\'t included).

Measurements:5.75\" height, 6\" spout tohandle, 3.5\" handle, 3.25\" x 4\" opening, holds approximately 32ounces (4 cups)

Very Good Antique Condition

Some light crazing (seen on theinside, trim and bottom). Paint loss on the gold trim around the rim; only some gold is still visible. A little paintloss to the decoration (see pics). Two clay dimples on the front that occurred during the firing process. Thelong clay indentions on the foot rim (the unseen bottomwhere it sits on the table); has no effect on the piece.
