You are looking at beautiful handmade piece of wire wrapped jewelry. Each piece is made by only me in my own studio in West Milford, NJ.
I make sturdy wire wrapped jewelry using Half Hard wire, so my jewelry is designed to last another lifetime and can be handed down to future generations. I use sterling silver and/or 14k gold filled wire in my designs. I do not use plated wire which will wear off and just not last. I love working with 14k gold filled wire, once called rolled gold, it was used successfully for many years as an alternative to solid 14k~~hence you will see many vintage pieces in 14k gold filled, a testimony to the wearability and longevity of this precious metal.The following elements were used to create your one of kind piece of jewelry:MAIN STONE: 14x10mm Genuine Carved bloodstone Scarab Beetle Cabochon, with Beetle characteristics on the front and hieroglyphic symbols on the back. This cab weighs in at 5.4 carats.
This ring would make a perfect small to medium solitaire ring for the more petite jewelry wearers. WIRE USED: 22 Gauge Half Hard Square 925 sterling silver Wire, with 20 Gauge 925 sterling silver binding wires.I have been working on several designs for scarab rings....and have brought several elements into the design of this ring that I have not seen before. I hope you enjoy it! The ring is designed not to overpower the scarab but to encase it an artfully designed setting to showcase the beautiful scarab.

Do not use an ultrasonic cleaner on this Beauty. Just use a mild delicate jewelry cleaner and buff to a shine with a jewelry polishing cloth. Store in the plastic baggie provides. The 14k gold filled wire will not tarnish, but the 925 sterling silver will oxidize with exposure...
