Original signed dinner invitation from President Eisenhower on DDE THE WHITE HOUSE stationary, to William Egli, dated Feb. 10, 1955. The invitation is for one of President\'s Eisenhower\'s famous \"Stag Dinners\" which were private dinners for well-connected political and business figures during his presidency. Mr. Egli was a University of Pennsylvania Law School graduate and District Attorney for Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The invitation was later mounted and framed by Mr. Egli along with his place card from the dinner (March 4, 1955) and two Eisenhower matchbooks (themselves highly collectible). Though not professionally authenticated, the framed collection came from a family member. These Stag Dinner invitations are well-known amongst Eisenhower collectors.
