A top quality larger style permanent horse shoe magnet. The magnet is in good working order and is seated on non-magnetic pillars on a moulded plexi glass base. The magnet is held in place on the pillars by a ball-bearing catch. The magnet can be rotated in situ over 360 degrees. The magnet can also be removed for a range of other experiments and investigation. There is an old stress crack in the perspex but this does not affect its use.
