Vintage Japan Inarco Emerald green pitcher-shaped vase, as pictured, for sale.The coloring on this hand-painted vase varies from asparagus to avocado to olive drab to emerald, with a shiny glaze.The beadwork and vibrant flowers (perhaps lotus?) are painted darker, and stand out in relief above the olive background.
I see one tiny (1/16th inch) chip, barely noticeable and only found upon very close third-time inspection. Overall this vase is in excellent condition with no cracks, no repairs, no crazing. Vase is 9 inches tall at spout x 4.75 inches wide from barrel to far edge of handle. A striking accent to a neutral room, or a beautiful addition to a collection of greens.
