I bought this Galle vase at an sale about 10-12 years ago--they said it was real but for what I paid I doubted it--had it in the shop for about 6 months when someone came and wanted to buy--I told them it was a reproduction and told them the story of how I acquired it and where--their remark was--as they looked at t heir hand held whatever to hell was--take a look at this--and there some reproductions were at prices five and six and seven times what I was asking for it in the shop...
So here it is--lets see if that dealer was correct--lovely 14 1/2 inch real or unreal Galle signed cameo glass vase--if real a nice find and of the Art Nouveau era into the early 20th century--if a reproduction--still a good find if you get it at the right price...and believe still a great looking piece and signed too boot...
The colors ar e muted and the background white has an almost clambroth look to it--cameos are deeply cut into the cased glass..Perfect condition guaranteed and will be superior packed..by little me...LOL--
