Now, a little somethingabout the artist:

Initially, Jim Shorepursued his art when and where he could. Supporting his young family as anengineer, he honed his skills as a sculptor and painter in his sparetime.

His passion was always hisart, which ultimately led to the start of his own company. Jim has painted in avariety of media including watercolor and egg tempera, a technique made popularby artists Andrew Wyeth and Bob Timberlake.

Jim has also perfected histechnique in silver and gold-smithing, wood carving, stained glass, furnituremaking and sculpting in stone. But, it’s his recollection of nostalgicchildhood memories and his deep appreciation of handcrafted quilt patterns andtextures that inspires Jim’s works-of-art.

Jim has received multipleawards from the National Association of Limited Edition Dealers, the premiertrade organization in the gift and collectible industry, including:
