An interesting and intriguing sectioned 4 Stroke engine that will attract both the engine enthusiast and Educational fraternity.
I completely stripped the engine sectioned it, acid cleaned all the parts. Painted the internals and casings.
I then reassembled it in such a way that it can be revolved by the handle all the internals can then be seen working ,
the cranking handle is removable for transport / storage,.
This one is a little more complicated than the side valve types I usually section being OHC it has a toothed cam belt driving the cam shaft in the cylinder head which operates the fully exposed valve gear via rocker arms which have the car type adjusters which makes it very suitable for education / training purposes as well as the engine enthusiast
The crankshaft is driven by the cranking handle which when revolved drives the con rod and piston up and down the cylinder while also rotating the cam shaft via the now fully exposed cam belt which then operates the valve train that is fully operational and operates as it would in a fully functional engine (its even timed correctly)
I have opened both sides of the cylinder which makes it especially suited to teaching as the piston position can be observed from both sides.,
It makes a fascinating and very different instructional / educational / unusual desk toy / teaching aid or counter display for related trades that catches peoples eye. (everyone who sees it cant resist turning the handle)
I try and keep at least a couple of engines listed though each one is different so if You see an engine You particularly like then grab it as each one is \"unique\" so when its gone its gone,
