We are pleased to offer this fine George III sterling silver eight bottle cruet set.

Retains the original eight cut glass bottles. Three having the original hallmarked silver covers.

From the rarely seen London shop of Thomas Death in 1816. First listed 1812.

In raised oval form with slender petal gadroon rim.

Eight circular frames support the original eight diamond cut bottles. The frames atop spread petal column leaf and ball foot supports.

Center with elegant shell and twin vine double oval handle. Atop conforming leaf and petal.

The stand itself atop vine framed anthemion petal and ball feet.

Never monogrammed.

This rare George III sterling cruet stand is 9 1/2 inches and 9 tall and weighs appox. 26 (standard) ounces. That is silver weight only.

Hallmarked as shown covers, stand, and stand arms.

In excellent condition. Rich, lustreous sterling patina throughout. Stands firm on table. Retains the original eight cut glass bottles in fine state. Three original silver covers, in fine state. Retains original fasteners. Mild wear.
