THIS LOT IS FOR A BEAUTIFUL PAIR OF ENGLISH STERLING SILVER CORINTHIAN COLUMN CANDLEHOLDERS. THESE WERE MADE IN LONDON IN 1898 BY WILLIAM GIBSON & JOHN LONGMAN. THEY ARE BOTH IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION AND HAVE A NICE PATINA. ONE OF THEM HAS AN OLD REPAIR AROUND THE UNDERSIDE OF THE TOP, BUT IT IS NOT REALLY NOTICEABLE UNLESS YOU LOOK FOR IT. I ALSO REPLACED THE GREEN FELT ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE BASES AS THE OLD FELT WAS A BIT RAGGED. THEY MEASURE 9\" TALL AND 3 3/4\" SQUARE AT THE BASE AND HAVE NEVER BEEN MONOGRAMMED.
