A fine Victorian sterling silver chained lion and mask tray.

Mappin & Webb in 1898.

Raised circular with ribbon wrap leafy rim.

Pierced and hand decorated classical masks in frame of cornucopia.

Alternating with classical urn flanked by raised paw lion.

Spread wing eagle perched atop pedestal united by

streaming garland and floral.

Atop winged leaf flower center lion paw and claw feet.

Never monogrammed.

This 1898 English sterling Renaissance Revival salver 14 3/4 inches 50 standard ounces.

Hallmarked as shown.

In excellent condition. Rich sterling patina.Stands firm on table.Retains original detail.
