Good Evening, What I am listing tonight Is an autographed colorphoto. The photograph Is 8 Inches by11-1/2 Inches, reproduced from the original color slide owned by me. The slide Is a Kodachrome Slide taken by 393rd. Bomb Squadronm ( VH ) Navigator John Dulin. This slide/photo was taken on the Island of Tinian after both bombs had been dropped and Japan surrendered.

Each year I would visit Fred Bock at his summer home on Lake Michigan \" Forest Dunes\" I would spend 3 or 4 hours with him showing him the photos I acquired since our last meeting and asked for his help In Identifying people In the photos. His wife Helen Bock happened to see this photo and shrieked \" That\'s Fred , I\'d know that blond hair anywhere\". I do not remember what Mr. Bock said but I venture they are coming back from swimming at the beach on Tinian.

The colors In this photo are very vibrant. This Is exactly what John saw when he focused his camera. Back In 1945 color film was very difficult to obtain, you had to know someone back home that could get It for you then you had to send the film to Kodak to be processed. It could be a year before you actually saw your photos/slides.Nothing better than Kodachrome.

The men In the Jeep are Left to Right, Fred Bock, Airplane Commander \" Bockscar\" Donald Young, Flight Surgeon,393rd Bomb Squadron( VH ) Lou Allen,Bombardier, \" Next Objective\" and Franklin MacGregor, Bombardier \" Top Secret\", Both Mr. Bock and Mr. MacGregor were difficult to obtain autographs from and I do not know of any other color photographs of Fred Bock available.

I had only 3 autographed photographs available. Good Luck. First time I have offered this- I\'m disposing of a 25 year collection.
