Here is a neatitem, the tooth plate from Eodiaphyodus granulosus, a fish thatlived in the Late Cretaceous of Morocco. Eodiaphyodusgranulosuswas related to the Tarpon and the “tooth” plates, located in the fish’s throat,were used to grind its food.
