Rare Beautiful Vintage Epiphone FT-550 Acoustic Guitar Jacaranda Sides and Back Made in Japan. It\'s missing the label but we knew what it was when we saw it!

This FT-550 acoustic guitar in great shape for it\'s age...The woods on this guitar are stunning!

It was Epiphone\'s top of the line acoustic from their professional series guitars that were built in Japan back in the early 70\'s.

Introduced in the 1970\'s the Epiphone FT-550 had a solid select natural spruce top, solid jacaranda-natural curly maple and jacaranda three piece back. Fixed full heel neck and fixed rosewood bridge.

The sides are also Jacaranda and the guitar is visually stunning! It\'s all original, accept for the tuners...It has a variety of tiny marks on the front, and a few very light dings, but overall a solid 8/10 cosmetically.

The frets show little to no wear especially in the upper registers. Fingerboard is the same with no real finger divots we could find.

Structurally it\'s very solid, no cracks, or repairs of any kind. The bridge is secure, and the action is good, and has recently had new strings put on...The guitar plays and sounds wonderful! It has always been cared for an used mainly for recording purposes...It\'s truly an amazing guitar, and the craftsmanship throughout is mind boggling! Epiphone made their FT series in Japan in the 70\'s, this was the Flagship of all of those models...absolutely beautiful guitar!
