1st off, I apologize for a couple of the photos having a border and slightly squished ratio. For some reason, my iPhone does that when taking pictures vertically and only when listing on . Up for sale is a great condition EPIPHONE PR 350-12 12-string acoustic dreadnaught guitar. This has very nice Epiphone Gotoh brand tuners. I believe Epiphone was building guitars in Korea at this time, but it could possibly be made in Indonesia or China (If you happen to know for sure, please let me know.). I bought this guitar brand new in 1996 and have been the sole owner ever since. I made a point to baby it and only played a few gigs with it. The overall condition is like new with basically no scratches or dings to be seen. The frets have tons of life left. Everything on this guitar is original except for the strap button and the 2 pearl plugs on the bridge. Somewhere around 2002, I became friends with a former Gibson employee/luthier (performed almost every job there, ending as an end line inspector) here in Kalamazoo named Tom Bradfield. He worked at Gibson for 18 years until they moved operations to Nashville. Tom stayed in K-zoo and opened his own shop called Strings Attached, setting up and repairing guitars for such artists as Elvis Presley, KISS, Peter Frampton, BB King, Billy Gibbons, and many more. I took most of my guitars to him for various work (mostly setups, fretwork, adjustments, etc. I have a great newspaper article about his relationship with BB and Lucille if you want to see it, I\'ll send it to you in photo form. Tom has since passed away, which saddens me greatly.) I noticed the bridge on this 12-string was starting to lift very slightly, so I had Tom check it out. It turns out Epiphone was attaching the bridges of these guitars after the finish was applied. Tom removed the bridge, cleaned it down to the wood top surface and reglued the bridge and also bolted it on in 2 spots for good measure, making sure it won\'t ever lift again. Tom also did an amazing job of setting it up, dressing and levelling the frets, and installing a new strap button in the perfect spot. Ever since, I always tuned it a full step down to lessen the tension on the bridge. Most of the time, this guitar was stored in a case with strings loosened. So, after the work, this guitar is basically in almost new condition with some slight bellying, which is to be expected with a 21 year old 12-string. The action is nice, low, and comfortable. The sound is great with loud and clear tone projection. This is also strung up with very nice Elixir extra light nanoweb strings, which last forever and have to be heard and felt to be believed. This is an all-around great 12-string acoustic that plays as good as an acoustic 12-string can play, not like one of those that is a chore to play. The guitar will arrive in the condition as pictured. This guitar comes with a black Epiphone chipboard case. The guitar will be shipped with strings loosened in the case itself. To be clear, the case itself will be used as the shipping container with padding surrounding the guitar and plenty of tape will be used to keep the case securely shut (9 or more times taped around the case using packing tape that comes off clean without causing damage to the case). It will be clearly labeled as \"fragile\" in multiple places. I have shipped countless guitars around the world (Australia, Germany, Spain, etc) this way without any issues or problems whatsoever. -Comes from the smoke-free, dog-free, child-free home of a serious adult collector and musician.-Check out my many other vintage guitars, musical instruments, and collectibles.-I take pride in fast shipping and handling (usually shipped the same day as payment is received).I charge a fixed rate for shipping and HANDLING due to the unpredictable nature of rising shipping rates, balloon rates, varying destinations, packing materials, fuel, etc. All my items are sold \"as is\" and I do not offer full or partial refunds. I am not a guitar expert, luthier, or tech. I do not build, work on, fix, adjust, appraise, or repair guitars/musical instruments. I leave all that kind of work/duties to the professionals. I do my very best to describe my items to the very best of my abilities. Items will arrive in condition as seen in photos provided. I sincerely apologize for even having to mention all these stipulations, but I feel it needs to be stated thoroughly in this day and age.Thank you very much for you valuable time and interest. Above all, take care.
