Victorian late 1800\'s platform rocking chair. Beautiful pan velvet upholstery, solid walnut wood frame carved with decorative designs across the front of the chair frame up the front of the arms & across the side accenting the platform base. Measuring approx. 36\" total height x a seat measurement of 20-3/4\" wide x 20-1/2\" deep. Arm to arm measures about 26\" wide, seat cushion to floor about 13\". The back measures approx. 21-1/2\" wide at the backrest making this a good size quality made antique chair. It really is good looking ~ take a look!Like this item? Condition:Please check the photos & use the enlarge button. This chair looks great to me it is ready to put in your room right out of the shipping box! The chair is sturdy with NO wobble or loose wood. No cracks, NO rips in the upholstery. The springs that create the platform for the chair to rock in motion are secure and tight with years of use left in them. If I had to find a flaw I would say the color might be slightly faded on the velvet perhaps from being in a well lit room. Nothing scary this is a great looking chair.
