Here are rare vintage folding opera glasses/lorgnette in solid 14k yellow gold approximately from late 19th / early 20th century. They measure 3 & 1/2 inch long from top of the glass to the end of the handle. The lenses are 1 & 1/2 inch in diameter. When opened they measure 4 & 1/4 inch across, the length of the bridge is approx 1 & 1/2 inch. They weigh 24 grams with the lenses.The opening mechanism is fully functional. There are some scratches on the lenses and one has a small chip right by the bridge.The lenses can be replaced though, as the frames can be opened by unscrewing small pins on top.This unique piece would make a great addition to anyone\'s collection.HAPPY offerDING!!!
