Up for sale is one Wallace Grande Baroque Sterling Silver 4 piece place setting. It is vintage, early production with stag head markings. There are no monograms or removal markings. Hollow handle knife with stainless steel blade is luncheon, generally stated to measure 8 7/8\" (personally I measure it to be 9\"). Flat handle sterling luncheon fork measures 7 1/2\". Flat handle salad fork measures 6 5/8\". Flat handle teaspoon measures 6 1/4\". The spoon also has an \"M\" beside the Wallace markings on the back, which can be seen in the close up photo. This set has been used and shows wear associated with regular use, namely the beautiful patina that comes from using sterling on a regular basis. The multiple small scratches give a greater sheen to the silver, which always grows lovelier over time as it\'s used, and shows the silver to be vintage, estate, heirloom pieces. These are the real deal, and are an investment worth making for any collector. They would fit in well as replacement pieces or as a first place setting for anyone wishing to begin a collection of this highly popular pattern which has been in continuous production since 1941.
