Estate Wallace Sterling Silver Grande Baroque Flatware Set 72 Piece 160 ounces Another Exceptional Item fromGreenhouse VintageEstate set of Grande Baroque Sterling Silver flatware in beautiful condition.Purchased from an estate over 25 years ago, this set has been in my personal collection ever since .... During this time the set has been used less than a dozen times, so I think it\'s time to sell.This is the vintage Grande Baroque which is HEAVIER and larger than the current offering .... Total weight for all pieces is 10 pounds (160 ounces) .... There are 12 5-piece-place-settings that include a knife, large dinner fork, salad fork, oval soup spoon and teaspoon (one extra) ... One place setting weighs 10 ounces, including the knife, or 7 ounces without the knife .... There are also 11 serving pieces as pictured ... All of these (except the cheese spreader, pasta server and butter knife) are estate pieces and are solid silver (no stainless) ... These are the heaviest and finest serving pieces that Wallace made for this pattern .... Total weight for the serving pieces is 36 ounces.All pieces are in excellent condition with no visible flaws ... They do show normal wear and a nicely-aged patina on the intricate scroll work of the handles with light surface scratching as expected .... All pieces are clearly marked Wallace Sterling.Sizes are as follows:
