\"Jim\'s Opals\"SIZE 9-1/2 (Women\'s)This solid Wello Ethiopian ribbon crystal opal has a beautiful pattern of color. The colors include green, orange, pink, blue.The opal in this ring measures 12.66 mm in length by 9.62 mm in width.

One of the most popular patterns in Ethiopian opals, it is a naturally formed potch line web inclusions know as an Orderly Geometrical Spatial Arrangement Of Atoms and make crystalline honey comb shape which is also so rare in any other type of opals.

The translucent internal fire hues of these Ethiopian opals are not hidden deep with in the opal but has properties that make fire hues 3D, this 3 dimensional colour aspect is rare in most opals.

I photograph the opals in natural sunlight settings at different angles to show as much of the opal\'s FLASH as possible, including the back.

The Ethiopian opals have vivid translucent colour bars and pattern that are strikingly bright and visible with naked eye.

Australian and Ethiopian opal and (whether crystal, boulder or black) is one of the five precious stones in the world. Australian opal is NOT humidity sensitive or subject to cracking. A bit about me and where the gold is mined...

Most of my Alaskanplacer gold nuggets are fromCircle, Fairbanks,FortyMile, Bonnifield, Rampart, Yukonand Ophirmining districts,Alaska. I have between 25 and 40 suppliers throughout the state and Canada. I clean my gold by a natural process only to knock off the dirt.The color and shineof the gold will vary, depending on the creek, assay, metal content, etc.

I am a one-woman business and I believe in \"truth in advertising\". Gold is my full time job after 35 years in aviation.I have gained the trust in hundreds ofreturn customers, including other sellers and plan to keep it that way.
