A beautiful signed french oil on board by Eugene Delobre. Its signed lower right and inscribed and dated 1930 verso. The work depicts a naked young girl bathing by the banks of a river. The work is on board and in very nice condition. A lovely piece.

Born 20 February 1873, in Paris; died 1956.
Painter. Portraits, genre scenes. Designs for tapestries.Émile Delobre studied under Delaunay, Gustave Moreau and Cormon.
He imitated the style of Cormon and worked with him producing tapestry cartoons at the Luxembourg. He also made copies after the old masters. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he was a member, receiving a bronze medal in 1929.sale Records
