Here is a very nice excavated Civil War Confederate Artillery 12 Lb side loader cannon ball. This one was dug by Mr. Wibur back in the 80\'s and is part of a huge artillery shell collection that I acquired. He keep very good log books of all his finds. The bottom is marked HB and according to his log book it has to be Harrisonburg, Virginia. Its in excellent dug condition and still retains its brass fuse plug and the lead side plug. It has been disarmed thru the fuse opening and has been preserved and is ready to display. This a very nice piece of Civil War Confederate artillery history.
