Up for sale is a exquisite antique danish etching of a mountain top castle from the early 1900\'s. This illegibly signed etching is signed in the low right hand corner while titled in the low left. Sitting in its original gold wood frame which measures 13 x 16.5 inches the plate mark measures 7.5 x 11 inches. The detail in this etching is absolutely impressive as every part of architectural detail is visible in the castle overlooking the river it rests above.
This etching came out of a large collection of originals from an estate in Denmark. This collection has been stored away until this last month when I was able to purchase a majority of the works. The majority of the works date from the early 1900\'s. Also, many listedScandinavian (mostly Danish) artists were in this set of art as this one here may be as well.
The quality is wonderful and the condition is very good. This is ready to be hung and enjoyed in your home or collection.
