Up for sale from a local estate is a very nice piece of Illinois memorabilia. This item is a great unsigned redware pottery preserve crock from Galena, Illinois IL from the 1860\'s. The glaze is the tell tale sign on this item. This crock was found in southern Wisconsin. This crock measures approx. 7 1/2 x 5 inches in size. This crock has great eye appeal. There is only one small blemish on the outer lip that is the start of a redware glaze pop but has not flaked off and is stable and still displays great (See Pics)!
