Excellent Vintage Currier & Ives Gold Foil Framed Pictures :

This very lovely set of matched gold foil pictures are of famous Currier and Ives paintings, and are excellently held in a beautiful wood contrast frame.

Measuring 8 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches overall, they are in excellent condition, and ready to hang, or gift to that favorite aunt or grandparent. Both have the original labels from the manufacturer, Academy Arts, in Chicago, IL. Both labels are intact, even retaining the original stub that was supposed to be torn off and filed. There is a small tear on one of the original backing cover papers, but it has no effect on the picture itself. Check the photos I have supplied. There is light scuffing, or storage and handling wear on the frames, but I believe this can be removed with polishing and care.
