Excellent Vintage Modernist Sculptural Link Sterling Necklace, Slor Denmark ‘50s:

Pictured below is a terrific vintage modernist necklace in sterling silver designed by Amos Slor, Copenhagen, Denmark, circa ‘50s. The choker-length, handmade necklace features a curvilinear, sculptural design, with rounded, contoured abstract links connected with oblong jump rings. The closure is a hook with a little sphere on the end that fits into the last link, with a safety clasp to keep it closed. This is a substantial, weighty and beautifully made piece – of excellent quality and craftsmanship – with clean, fluid, modern lines, big presence when worn, and great mid-century Scandinavian appeal.

Measurements: The necklace is choker-length, measuring about 15 3/8” long. Each link measures about ¾” long by about ½” wide.

Condition: The piece is in excellent used vintage condition with just light surface signs of age and wear, some darkened patina, but no detractors.

Marks: It is signed on the back of a link with impressed marks, ‘SLOR, STERLING, DENMARK.’
