Exceptional Large Vintage Arts and Crafts Wicker and Bamboo Lamp Original Shade:

Original early 1900\'s wicker and bamboo Arts and Crafts lamp, hailing from an Adirondack estate. The handiwork on this is spectacular, and it\'s a very large lamp, big enough to anchor and define an entire room. It\'s not marked, but it\'s exceptional and highly reminiscent of shades and lamps sold by Gustav Stickley. Shade, finial, hardware - all appears to be original. The body is constructed of finely woven split bamboo in various sizes, with a rich mahogany-like finish. The lamp itself is 33 inches high from base to top of finial, ten inches across at the base, with a shade that is 23 inches across at its widest at bottom. Three-socket construction, with a metal finial at top with dangling matte glass teardrop. The shade is lined with a tan burlap-like cotton cloth, handsewn. Very long wire. This is really exceptional, both design and condition - I can\'t discern any cracks or breaks to the splats. These lamps are extremely rare in this condition and in this size.
