This is an exceptional and lovely antique child\'s chair. This chair was purchased at an English Estate sale in Barbados, West Indies in 1964.
This is the child size version of the Classic THONET bentwood café chair.
Gersuan an Austrian Cabinet maker began making furniture out of bent wooden slats in 1830\'s.
It has a black lacquer finish with gold detailing on it.
The chair has THONET stamped into the wood on the bottom.
Chair has original square headed bolts from that period.
a special child\'s chair and can be used to display a doll or teddy bear, as we have used it as a work of art.
