This verybeautiful, exceptional quality antique silver plate mounted cut crystal glassclaret jug with expanding diaper cut crystal glass pattern body, high quality silverplated top and unusual figural handle dating from around1900 is in beautifulcondition with no dents, dings or damage of any kind, the glass is also perfectwith no chips or cracks. This very finely made claret jug / decanter has a bellshaped glass body and rounded star cut base.

The jug has amounted silver plate top with a Bacchus moulded spout with hinged domed coverand beautifully scroll shaped handle. The makers mark is stamped on the rim atthe hinge but we have been unable to confirm the makers mark / image.

The claretjug is in excellent original antique condition without loss, damage orrestoration. A stunning example enhanced greatly by the high quality glass,silver plating and unusual silver plated figural handle.

Dimensions: 29cms tall x 13cms at widest point.
