EXQUISITE AND RARE AMERICAN IDEAL TEDDY BEAR
This is one teddy bear you do not want to pass up
This gorgeous old bear is an early 1900s antique teddy bear that measures13\" tall, is fully jointed, original eyes and stitched nose, original paw pads, and retains approximately 90% of his cinnamon mohair. Yes, CINNAMON. You rarely will see a cinnamon ideal bear.
His coloring is a vibrant dark reddish brown. He is stuffed with kapok which was very common withthe Ideal bears in the early 1900\'s. As you can see, he has a lot of the ideal traits such as the ear placement, which are placed lower than usual on his head, his shoe button eyes, and most of all that slopingmuzzle (see side photos). In addition, he has the long curved arms
His joints move freely and as mentioned he retains about 90% of his fur with just some areas of patchiness (see photos). He has no squeaker or growler nor do I think he ever had one as I do not feel any mechanism in his body.
