This BEAUTIFULLY FASHIONED miniature mirror is circa 1880\'sand most likely of FRENCH ORIGIN, made of ORNATE BRASS with a wonderfully worn RICH PATINA! This little treasure has a frame that measuresa total of 3 3/4\" tall to the very top of the corners and is 3\" across at the widest points and is 1 7/8\" wide across the bottom, and the inside of the fancy exterior frame features an OVAL MIRROR which measures 2 1/8\" high and 1 5/8\" wide including its BARLEY TWIST frame, rendering it the perfect scale for POUPEES! It boasts wonderful ELABORATE MODELING featuring brass FLORAL APPLIQUES at the top and bottom corners with tiny FAUX GARNET cabochon jewels, and DAINTY FILIGREE brass embellishments crowning the top, bottom and sides with FAUX TURQUOISE cabochon stones!

The underside of the mirror has it\'s original CARDBOARD BACKING and more recently a loop of thread was added for ease of hanging. With the exception of some age foxing to the mirror, it is in overall DISPLAY READY condition with all of the original floral and filigree appliques and stones still intact; welove the beautiful luxurious finish created from over 125 years of aging!
