A truly exquisite French fashion doll about 17 1/2\" tall. With her hat on, she stands about 18\" tall. She wears an elaborate outfit of off-white cotton trimmed with embroidered cotton trim and lace-trimmed pleating. She wears a blue bead necklace and gold-colored chatelaine with blue details. The reverse side of the flowered disk is a black and white paper watch face with Roman numerals and covered with a glass insert. She wears white leather gloves with a single button closure. The gloves are in fairly good repair with some wear and grime. She wears two white cotton petticoats and white cotton bloomers. There is overall brown staining on her bloomers. She wears brown leather boots with brass buttons. One button is missing on each boot. The boots have high heels and the bottoms are stamped C.C. in an oval. She is wearing what I assume is her original blonde wig. It is glued to a cork pate and removes easily. Her hair is held back with two tortoise shell combs. She also comes with a straw hat trimmed with silk and one black feather. The hat is lined with cotton and has a tiny blue and white paper label that says \"No. 3.\" The three is hand-written. There are a couple of small spots where the silk edging has worn away and the wire reinforcement is showing through. She wears one coral earring; the other earring is missing. There is a wire loop from each ear so her earrings could be replaced if desired. I can see no damage to her head. There are no markings on her head. She has a swivel neck on a bisque shoulder plate. I can see no damage to the neck or shoulder plate. I have never removed her clothing since purchasing her and am reluctant to do so for fear of damaging her clothing. She was purchased from a reputable dealer 7 years ago. I can tell her shoulder plate is glued to a white leather body. Her stand is not included. I will accept Paypal or a personal check. Doll will not be shipped until check has cleared. I will ship to US addresses only. Doll will be carefully packed and shipped insured.
