This is an exquisite Noritake Salt and Pepper set decorated in the Art Deco style. The set consists of a pepper shaker with raised three dimensional fruit, apples, a plum, berries, etc. and an open salt in the shape of a basket with an apple, plum and a banana. The pieces are primarily is glazed in tan lustre/luster offset by black trim. This is a really beautiful set and one that I have never seen before. The piece is in excellent overall condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, fleabitesor repairs. The tray measures 4.25\"wide and is 2.5 deep. The open salt is 2.25\" high and 2.25\" wide, and the fruit pepper is 2.25\" tall and 2\" in diameter. The salt/pepper are marked on the bottom with theNoritake MIJ.1 and J.1 back stamp, in red.White spots, if any, are camera glare.
