If you haven\'t heard of Gerold Porcelain, it was located in Tettau,Bavaria, West-Germany. 45 years before Lladro came up with it\'s famous color scheme, the \"Porzellan Fabrik Tettau Gerold & Company\" produced porcelain figurines and porcelain products with the incredible color scheme of light gray, pastel rose, white and pastel green, and, of course, we can\'t forget the distinctive blue color that earned Gerold world wide recognition.

In 1997, Gerold was sold to Lindner Porcelain, also located in Bavaria, and all old Gerold molds were destroyed. This company failed an ceased operation in 2002. Today, Gerold Porcelain is very rare and much sought after.
