ABOUT THE ITEM: Haute Couture one of a kind EXQUISITE sheer double layer mini dress by Fontana Sisters for Battilocchi. Exquisitely tailored and incredible attention to details. Nude shift dress has gauze top layer hand beaded with different crystals of varying size and colors. Inner sheath has zip up back and gauze outer layer has hidden snap closure along back with hook closure at neckline. This is not just a dress but a piece of fashion history. Label is \"Battilocchi Roma\" by Fontana Sisters.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER: , Aurora Battilocchi began designing dresses in Rome in the early 1920\'s and created haute couture custom gowns for some of the most renowned women in Europe. In the 1950\'s she joined with the Fontana Sisters: Zoe, Mico, and Giovanna. It has been said Italian fashion had three internationally renowned names before Valentino, Armani and Versace, and they were Micol, Zoe and Giovanna.

The sisters were essentially the founders of modern Italian fashion and created custom dresses and gowns for some of the biggest stars in the world including Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelley, Ursula Andres and Audrey Hepburn - including her famous first wedding gown. Dresses by Battilocchi/the Fontana Sisters are all one of a kind. Their gowns and dresses are on display in Fashion Museums around the world including The Metropolitan Museum in New York.

Combined shipping is done at the sellers discretion. If you purchase more than one item from us, they may arrive in separate packages.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING:

Shipping costs for all orders can be determined by the shipping calculator in this sale. We ship using USPS Priority Mail or Fedex Home Delivery and always include tracking details. We also offer freight shipping for furniture or large items weighing over 150lbs.

FREIGHT:

Our preferred freight shipping provider is located in Torrance, CA. They are a five-star, full service freight transportation & logistics company offering full insurance, door-to-door move-in service, careful packaging, and in-home assembly (if needed for an additional cost). All of these services are included in the shipping quote you will recieve. Buyers are welcome to shop around for other freight quotes, however if you choose an alternative shipper, we cannot be liable for any damage incurred once the item leaves our premises. There will be a handling fee if you choose another carrier.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

We offer international shipping for items that can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. We do not offer international freight.
