Up for your consideration is a FABULOUS Victorian Period, Cut and Engraved, Marked- \"Solid Silver\" Overlay on Ivory Umbrella/Parasol Handle. Measures 5 3/4\" in length and has a 2 3/4\" overall length to the handle as shown in pictures 11 and 12. No monograms or signs of a removal. There is a crack in the silver ferrule otherwise solid with no repairs, loose or missing parts. I can find no markers mark only, \"Solid Silver\" so this is the finest purity you can have. This could be a specially commissioned handle? The quality and detail is the finest to be obtained and would make an important addition to your period fashion, antique silver collection or to that special collector on your list.
