This isa stunningly beautiful pair of Victorian Bohemian Antique rose cut Garnet, 925Silver & Gilt lever clip / clip-on earrings c. 1880 / 30. These gorgeousearrings are a lovely deep red in colour and simply sparkle in the light, ithas been impossible to catch the true beauty of these earrings in thephotographs, they are truly a lovely pair of quality Vintage earrings, veryDownton Abbey! They are hallmarked 925 for Silver but are Gold in colour asthey have been Gold plated on top of the Silver. The hallmarks are found on theback of the lever clips of the earrings the other marks read: an impressed G ina circle and a stag’s head with the number 2 below it, I assume this is themakers mark and date letter. They measure just over ¾’s of an inchinlength and just under ¾ of an inch in width, the largest cut Garnetmeasures 1 centimetre in length, together they weigh 11 grams rounded upwards.As to conditionthey are in very good condition, please read my conditiondefinitions and use photos as a guide.
