Description A wonderful large genuine English antique 19th Century Victoriansolid sterling silverladies Albertina watch chain,inexcellent condition anddating from around 1880-1890.Superbqualityoriginal 125+ year oldexample, (definitelynot a modern re-production), and all original and matching.A good long length with attractive quadruple silver rope and snake link chains, with a decorative engraved silver slider panel and with decorative silver end caps. It is complete with its original twisted silver t-bar and original hallmarked silver swivel/dog catch. Attached is a beautiful antique Victorian \"shield-shaped\" photo locket, engraved with flowers and foliage. Stunning example, one of the best I have had andlooks only little used.

Measurements Measures approx. 8.95 inches (225mm) in length with a further 1 inches on the fob chain.

Date English antique 19th Century Victorian solid sterling silver,no hallmarks on the chain as is quite usual with genuine antique silver albertina chains, the swivel/dog catch is stamped \"Sterling\" and is definitely antique. The silver photo locket has English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1893.100% guaranteed antique 19th Century solid silver (sterling grade) no splits or cracks, no repairs andno knocks or dents, a beautiful decorative example, looks only little used. The swivel/dog catch works perfectly and has a good strong spring. The silver locket is in good condition, the hinge works perfectly and it opens and closes securely.
