FABULOUS Extremely Rare All Orig 8” 1930’s Cameo Wood Jointed Bonzo w/tail LR:

Here is a fabulous, rare, all original 1930\'s wood jointed and composition, with original wood jointed tail 8\" Cameo Bonzo. This jointed bonzo is rarely seen and it’s the first one I have come across in many years. He is in excellent condition with no touch ups or repairs but he does have some flaking on his adorable little face. He even still has his stubby wood jointed tail that is strung with original elastic but it’s a bit loose from hanging over the decades. Again, Bonzo is 8” tall and was made in the 1930\'s by the Cameo Toy Company. His fat round face is adorable with huge blue painted eyes and a big painted red tongue. He has some flaking mostly on his muzzle but you can still see his little black nose and he has some of his painted whiskers and some little freckles around his nose. He has the cutest little rounded ear and black spots all over this body. Bonzo’s wood jointed body is excellent and his little wooden paws are great. Bonzo is strung great with the exception of his tail so he stands well on his own. His little paws and feet jointed to you can pose him anyway you want. As you can see he has his original BONZO decal on his chest that is perfect and there is another one on the bottom of his foot. That one reads BONZO Reg. U.S Pat. Off. Corp. by G.E. Studdy. I believe George E. Studdy was the artist of Bonzo and there were all kinds of Bonzo dogs that came from his drawings in the 1920’s. The Cameo Doll Company has the rights to make the 8” wood jointed Bonzo and the 13” composition Bonzo and both are extremely rare to find This little Bonzo would make a fabulous addition to any antique or vintage Bonzo or composition so he needs adopting right away. This fabulous, rare, all original, 8” wood jointed and composition with original wood jointed tail, Cameo Bonzo should sell for well over $2400.00 if you can even find him but my reserve is less so don\'t let him scamper away.
