The boy is barefoot, with a feather in his hat and his jacket over his shoulder, wearing knickers and a vest with his blouse and carrying fish with a basket at his side.The girl is wearing a sun bonnet with the ribbon tied in a bowunder her chinthat matches her skirt, and is pulling her scarf or shawl around her shoulder...... the shawl has a rough spot at the point (I have pointed this out in a picture)..... she is carrying a posy basket.Please use the supersize and zoom features to see the detail in the faces, hair, and clothing of these children.I\'m not sure if they were originally spill holders or vases......
