Description A fabulousrarelargedecorative EnglishantiqueEdwardiansolid sterling silvertable/jewellerybox by the silversmiths A & J Zimmerman Ltd in excellent clean condition and with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1903. Wonderful high quality genuine 114 year oldsilver box,great size with a hinged silver lid and is all-over decorated with beautiful embossed flowers and scrolls. Inside it is complete with its original undamaged blue velvet & silk-lined interior. Veryheavy silver weight, approx513 grams in total, (including base and lining).Has the original burgundy leather covering on the underside of the base.As a bonus there are no added personal engraved inscriptions or monograms and nothing has been erased. A real beauty, one of the best I have had. Direct from a private estate and new to the market.

ConditionExcellentclean condition, no splits or cracks, no solder repairs, definitely no wear holes and nasty knocks or dents, a stunning example, honestly looks very little used, despite being 114 years old. The silver lid hinge works perfectly and the lid opens and closes tightly and securely. Superbly all over decorated and with its original undamaged padded velvet and silk lined interior. Impressive large table size and a lovelyheavy silver weight.There are no added engraved inscriptions and is direct from a private estate and fresh to the market. One of the best around and a great usable investment.
