Anelegant and exceptionally beautiful solid sterling silver cherub adorned caddy spoon, in deep, richly embellished repousse. It may be used for numerous things, but I strongly feel, it was for tea, thus my reference to a caddy spoon. It was made during the later part of the VICTORIAN ERA by NATHAN & HAYES ineither 1894 or 1887, depending if you see the date letter as n or u??? Made in Birmingham, England. An absolute masterpiece of one of the most gloriously lovely spoons I have owned and seen in some time.

Condition excellent, showinglittle, if any wear, so was clearly used very little, over 130 years and fabulous. You can tell, I really love this piece.

Just over 4 inches or 11cm in length and 1.5 inches or 3.75cm in width, featuring a solid, substantial weight of 20 grams.
