Being offered is a beautiful antique Chinese Blue & White Export porcelain stem bowl with an unusual ship decoration. This piece measures 16.5 cm in diameter, 12.4 cm tall and weighs 636 grams. The condition is excellent with handling wear from use, loss of the gold gilt decoration and some minor rubbing on the foot rim. There are no chips, cracks or fleabites and piece has a unbelievable sustained ring when tapped. It is unmarked but this piece was bought with a label identifying it as Circa 1820 Chinese Export. The base wear and handling patina are consistent with that date. The piece is well potted with the base being sturdy and bowl thinly potted. This is a beautiful antique Chinese stem cup that displays beautifully for your consideration.
