Upfor sale is afine and rare 18th century Chinese porcelain luncheon plate in thewell know"Rockefeller" pattern. Thisfine Palace Ware plate is beautifullypainted with a central scene of aChinese man playing a gamewith achild with a seated woman who is sewing, arare activity to be depicted.A servant on the left is bring them tea. The plate measures 7.75 inches diameter or about 19.7 centimeters. The quality of the painting is beautiful and the enamels are vibrant. There is some enamel wear from the stacking of plates around the edges of the central scene and some wear to the gold on the border. In the center of the plate is a very faint glaze line that is very difficult to see, we cannot photograph it. On the back of the plate is the label of wellknow Atlanta, GeorgiaChinese porcelain dealer Henry Moog. CONDITION: No chips or repairs. There is somestacking wear tothe enamels around the edgesof the central scene, some wear to the gold on the rim. In the center of the plate there is a very faint glaze line, almost impossible to see. No other issues or problems.
