Here for sale is a beautiful solid 14k gold radiant-cut diamond engagement ring. I added the word \"emerald\" (cut) to the title because some people may consider the shape of the diamond either way, but this is a \"radiant cut\" diamond in the true sense of the word, as the corners are not square. The diamonds are natural, untreated diamonds.

Anyway, that being said, this is a lovely ring at a great price.

The diamonds are set in white gold heads (on a yellow gold shank), which really brings out their sparkle.

The center diamond measures 7.9 x 5.9 mm. Since the radiant-cut diamond is considered a \"fancy cut\", we had to do some research on the carat size. An 8 x 6 mm radiant cut is 1.50 carats, according to the charts, so our jeweler estimates this diamond to be approximately 1.40 ct because it\'s just shy of an 8 x 6 mm measurement. It\'s set in four wide prongs at the corners.

This diamond is graded by our experienced estate jeweler as G/H in color (very white) and I-1 in clarity. IMPORTANTLY, PLEASE NOTE: There is a natural inclusion in the diamond (it is not \"damaged\") which breaks the surface of the table in one small area. It is not deep, but if you scratch the table with your fingernail, you can feel a small non-smooth area near the center, which reaches up from the inclusion. I have shown a photo of the diamond on an angle so that you can see it--see the last photo here. I emphasize this because it\'s important to know everything about the diamond you are buying, and PLEASE be sure you are okay with this \"flaw\" before offerding/buying.

It is still a gorgeous, fancy cut diamond, at a ridiculously low price--and it faces up white to the eye. The inclusion is centrally located, so it almost \"blends in\" with the many facets of this stone.

The main diamond is enhanced by a princess cut diamond and one tapered baguette on each side. The princess cuts measure 3 x 3 mm (.17 ct) and the baguettes are about .03 ct each, bringing the total diamond weight in this ring to about 1.80ctw.

The princess and baguette diamonds are graded as G color and VS-2 clarity by our experienced estate jeweler.

The face of the ring measures 3/8\" by 1/4\" and the head sits up 1/4\" off the hand. It is hallmarked 14K and it weighs 3.3 grams. The ring is a size 5.75 and can be sized by any competent jeweler.
