Original Antique Victorian Cufflinks....
This is a really fabulous pair of late 19th Century cufflinks in 9ct Rose gold.
Beautifully hand engraved with scroll work they epitomise the Victorian Romantic period.
They are in a lovely rounded oval style like beans.
Stamped 9 for 9ct (also tested as such) they have a makers mark SS possibly for Samual Smith of the Strand London, Importers, Jewellers and Diamond merchants.
They have a beautiful soft copppery rose gold colour that you just cannot get in modern gold - the pictures don\'t really show the beautiful colour.A good weight, they com ein a refurbished Antique leather box so would make a wonderful gift.
I always think that you cannot go wrong with a good pair of cufflinks for a gift on any occasion. In particular they make a fabulous gift for a Groom to wear on his wedding day and can be passed down as heirlooms – perhaps for a son or son-in-law to wear on their wedding day.
