Up for sale is a fine antique Chinese porcelain lobed dish decorated in the Kangxi manner in the \"Aster\" pattern, and dating to the 18th/19th century. The dish is beautifully potted with moulded and lobed sections, each with painted Aster flower. The dish is signed in underglaze blue with a four character commemortive Xuande mark within two blue circles and retains a label from Vermeer and Griggs, dealers in Los Angeles. A nice dish, one of two Aster pattern items listed this week.
Any white spots are reflections from the camera lights.
AGE: 18th/19th century
SIZE: 6.25 inches diameter or about 15.87 centimeters.
CONDITION: Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. We note a few tiny fleabite flakes to the rim and some wear and flakes to the unglazed foot rim, from age and use.
