Fine gold and silver wire cabinet sized Japanese cloisonne vase signed by Hayashi Kodenji. The vase features two gold wired birdsflying around white chrysanthemum flowers with together small yellow blue and orange flowers growing at the base. The vase is 3 3/4\" high by 3\" wide. It is signed on the base with the mark of Hayashi Kodenji. This particular marked is formed in silver wire and enamel and is shown as mark#17in Coben & Ferster. Excellent condition except for a restoration between the birds (see detail in last photo) and some of the silver is coming off the silver plated foot rim. Characteristic Hayashi borders at mouth and foot. Ask all questions before offerding. Standnot included.
