Splendid Victorian Hallmarked Solid Sterling Silver Bonbon / Sweetmeat Dish Made ByMiller Brothers.
Description - Wonderfulantique late 19th centuryVictoriangood size solid silver Bonbon dish of circular form with beautiful geometrical patterns which include sections of piercedtrellis, also withembossed and hand chased scrolls, flowers and leaves, the dish is raised on three ball feet.
The dish is fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, the date letter \"x\" for the year 1897 and the makers marks \"M.BROS\" which isMiller Brothers
Condition -The dish is in excellent condition, there are no dents, dinks, splits, holes and repairs, there is nodamage to the pierced sides, the embossed decoration is crisp and clear with no wear or rubbing, the dish stand\'s flush on it\'s feet.
Dimensions & Weight -The dish is 16cm in diameter x 4.3cm high, the weight is 128 grams.
